Currently in Cannes, France, takes place the 69th edition of one of the most famous movie festival worldwide. The most prestigious award given out at Cannes is the Palme d'Or ("Golden Palm") for the best film, but today we gonna talk about the best suit!
Because we love to see men dressed elegantly, we wanted to share with you our favorite tuxedos on the 2016 Cannes red carpet! Ranked from 7 to 1, have a look at our top best suits during this edition.
Number 7. Georges Miller
Georges Miller, film director of Fury road won 6 Oscars last February. He is the president of the Jury for the 69th edition of Cannes movie festival.
M. Miller looks very elegant with a black suit joined by assorted cufflinks and patterned bow tie. Classic suit highlighted by original accessories. He shows that a perfect fitted suit is always elegant.
Number 6. Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake is an American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. µThe beautiful lady in yellow dress who accompanied him is Anna Kendrick.
M. Timberlake decided to wear a black tuxedo from Tom Ford. An interesting suit cut with a long jacket length and the traditional peak lapel. The outfit is completed with cufflinks, a black big butterfly bow tie and proper black varnished derby shoe. He shows that properly tailored black tie never goes out of style.
Number 5. Georges Clooney
We don’t need to present Georges Clooney, more than a simple actor he’s a legend in the cinema industry. We particularly like this picture full of happiness with Julia Roberts on the red carpet. M. Clooney breaks the code wearing an original black tuxedo designed with a notch lapel.
Number 4. Jack Guinness
No no no, M. Jack Guinness is not the inventor of the famous Irish beer!
We discovered this handsome gentleman on the red carpets. He recently worked with Paul Smith, Barbour and UGG as model.
M. Guinness matches a suede tuxedo style blazer with a black suit pant. Probably the most original combination for this edition. It definitely looks cool and elegant. Not easy to wear so be careful if you copy his style!
Number 3. Mads Mikkelsen
Famous Danish actor and member of the Jury for this edition, Mads Mikkelsen opted for a Dior Tuxedo with a black silk peak lapel and flap pockets. We love the slim fit cut of the tux that makes him look his best! Definitely the must have tuxedo, no chance to fail with this design.
Number 2. Oliver Cheshire
Oliver Cheshire, fashion model for many famous brands is one of our crushes for this edition.
The originality of mixing a tuxedo with a double-breasted style jacket makes him being in the 2nd position of our Atelier Fusari’s selection. We would have preferred slim pockets on side but anyway he is stunning!
